I must admit i was sad enough to watch england and leichenstein hoping for a 5 or 6-0 win, but of course the skill Owen and rooney scored and it faded out to a rather boring 2-0 win. Talk about being too weak on teams, how the hell can we expect to draw in turkey if we cannot paste a team of mostly part timers

and what can you say about italy, do they want wales to sneak top again. god help them if they not win their last game at home, because wales could miraculously still top the group

Rooney & Bridge were the best players on the pitch,Lampard,Gerrard,Owen were very poor.We will get the point inTurkey & Wales deserve to go to 2004

I think Joe Cole is the only interesting English player - because of his dribbling

You know who's not used enough? Kieron Dyer, he has great pace and skill.
AND I'm not just saying that cause of who he plays for ;)

Yeah Joe Cole is a good player the dribbling will stop when he gets rid of his Dummy,no serious he is a quality player & so is Dyer,I would have played Dyer & Cole instead of Gerrard & Lampard.I was fortunate to see Lampard's Dad play at the Lane many years ago ,young Lampard has a long way to go to reach his Dad's level.

Yep i watched the England game...

I have 2 say David James is 1 of the worst goalkeeprs i have ever seen how does he get the no 1 jersey ...

But overall i think England will qualify...

you can't lose Gerrard - a better solution would be a 3-5-2

Dyer, Cole, Lampard, Gerrard, Beckham

you might laugh but i see this as englands best eleven
1. David james or paul robinson(either will do)-Keeper
2. Wayne bridge-Left Back
3. Gary neville-Right Back
4. rio ferdinand-Centre defence :D
5. steven gerrard-defensive midfield sweeper :D
6. Keiron dyer-midfield centre
7. David beckham-right midfield :D
8. paul scholes-attacking midfield
9. Wayne rooney-attack :D
10. Michael Owen-attack :D
11. Joe Cole-left midfield
the five smilies are who i see has the big influentual five for england

subs
12. ashley cole
13. gareth southgate
14. james beattie
15. frank lampard
16. owen hargreaves
17. emile heskey
18. sol campbell

to play in a unique 3-1-3-1-2 formation, or 3-4-3 simply to most, it could convert easy to 3-5-2, 4-3-3, or 4-4-2

how can you say owen was poor. look what he did for today for my team liverpool. who top 3 scorers in the league now. oh let see
1. michael owen 5 -liverpool
2. teddy sheringham 5 - portsmouth
3. alan shearer 5 - newcastle

Overall
1. henry 4 league 6 other =10
2. Mutu 4 league 4 other =8
3. Owen 5 league 2 other =7

see owen is the man, and that with how crap my team were first 3 games, now they are doing the business. let hope it continue. bring on next week Man Utd and arsenal, uh huh big big game. who pool got, leicester, who the hell are leicester?
