I'm looking for a hosting company that costs around 60 dollars canadian (~50US, 35 EUR). I used leaseweb before and was satisfied but they no longer allow a one month term for seedboxes that cost less than 100 EUR. This seedbox will be used by 2 moderate users. We survived on 2TB on leaseweb, but more bandwidth would be welcome. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hey there, I'm a fellow Canadian. I could hook you up with an OVH Kimsufi L (Intel Celeron 1.2GHz+, 1GB RAM, 250GB HDD) for 39EUR for this month (~$66.50) - special Christmas offer. Connection is 100mbit, bandwidth limit is 5TB before they limit your speed (read up on OVH's SLA policy). You get the Linux distro of your choice and root access.

If you're intrested, hit me up with a PM. I'm a verified Paypal premier user, if that counts for anything.

from what ive read in other posts, this is how to get a kimsufi if you live in canada:

1- Go to Walmart and purchase a prepaid credit card
2- Register it with some random address (in Quebec if you must)
3- Get you self a good old kimsufi box

Can anyone verify if this works? I hear OVH sometimes ask for other details, such as a second proof of address (ID/utility bill).

They do not sell to Quebec anymore - check the OVH forums, there is a discussion on that, and OVH state they no longer sell to Quebec
