Hallo jetje! Hoe gaat ie?

Ha Skweeky, in Nederland alles goed.

Hi j2k4,

In the Netherlands al is fine. Still checking the board so every now and then, but hardly post messages, cause if someone replies it is possible i don't be around to read them.

Indeed - been okay, here, though I keep waiting for things to slow down a bit, I don't think it's gonna happen.

Good to hear, Kevin. Work keeping you busy?

Aye - that, and thinking about work.

Trying to get things situated solidly enough to take a vacation this year.

Are you one of them people who cut down trees Kev? Like in Axe Men on the tellybox?

You're extrapolating from the red-checked shirt, aren't you.

I can swing an axe, use a chainsaw, and made my living doing so on occasion when I was young.

These days I am a low-level entrepeneur - it's easier.

Brains over brawn, as it were.

I still think brutal thoughts, though.

I drive a small four-passenger pickup, though I don't see how it bears on the issue of axe-work or sawyering.

It comes in handy for certain aspects of my work, and Mrs. J has a minivan which is our road vehicle.

Both are well-suited to ostentatious acquisition and consumption (that's American for "shopping").

All axe men drive pick up trucks. Everyone knows that Kev.

j2k4
01-08-2009, 05:50 PM
Ah, but all those who drive pickup trucks are not axe-men.

True story.
