I would seriously recommend spending the 15 bucks to get this. The developers need support so they can bargain with M$ to continue the MSN client. If you aren't that gnerous a cracked version should be out soon.

Trillian is bloated and slow, IMO. I'd rather use the individual clients, since I don't need to connect to all of them everytime.

trillian is brilliant, why have 4 differnet clients when i can use just one.

if this has the msn feature that lets you use your own smilies then i will be a very happy man.

Trillian is great...its just lacking voice chat support

Trillian is only slow if you have a slow computer. It is very handy for thos eof us who don't want our computer bombarded with banners and such on normal clients. Also it is skinnable, you can use multiple accounts at one time, it looks 10 times better, it has all the fnctions and more of the standard clients, and it uses only a small fraction of your computer resources, unlike running 4-5 IM clients seperately.

What IM client "bombards" you with banners ads? AIM has 1 little banner ad, which is disabled with DeadAim anyways. MSN has a handy news banner. Yahoo! Messenger has none. These are the only clients I use. I rarely use all 3 at the same time. Most of the time it's just 1 or 2, so why load Trillian that's bloated with 5 clients in one?

Yahoo! Messenger has none.
Yahoo! Messenger has some. Just not on the window that shows the contacts. It still takes up space though when your looking at sonething in yahoo messenger.

Most of the time it's just 1 or 2, so why load Trillian that's bloated with 5 clients in one?
So? Do you think everyone only uses 1 or 2 clients at the sametime? No.
Some people have more than 3 clients on their computer. Why should they have three open when they can just have one?

It's a matter of what the person needs it for. If you only use 1 or 2 clients, don't bother downloading Trillian. You don't need it.

The final version of Trillian 2.0 should appear in a few days on BitTorrent. Many of the betas are already on BitTorrent. :D

And to all of those who said that Trillian is slow, stupid or too cluttered are totally computer illiterate! :angry:

Trillian 2.0 combines an intuitive interface with loads of features and great coding under the hood! How do I know? I own it and wrote a plug-in for it some time ago. I believe it is the best IM that was ever coded and those who don't like it, don't use it! But then, don't complain about MSN Messenger crashing all the time on your machine or ICQ slowing down your PC. :lol:

I pitty those who don't use Trillian! :D

yeah i am having the same problems

1) ran apihooks which came up with a heap of paramaters
2) ran the .bat fiile which prompted me for the usual userame etc.

on the fist time round i typed in anything and got in and set it all up,
just closed trillian then and re opened and is prompting for username & pass

anyone had more luck then us two?

my crack is from tsrh, and it works, otherwise trillian pro 2.0 wouldn&#39;t be running right now

if you use the runme.bat this is what you do

install trillian pro 2.0

don&#39;t click launch, close the window

place the crack in the installed directory

run runme.bat

use a short username and a short password

like name - john
pass - doe

keep the login automatically box checked, and click ok

keep in mind, runme.bat is what you&#39;ll have to run if you want to launch trillian

I like tsrh&#39;s crack much much better

place in trillian directory, run once, and use trillian like normal

I got it working I like the beta version better, seems this one crashes when you try to change the skin, to any, I could change the skin on the beta. it works though
