I cannot get files to delete by using the right click and going to delete. I have scanned for virus-none found- Any suggestions?

restart in safe mode then delete it.

boot up is safe mode or you can try making sure that there are no programs running in your system tray and then try delete, if you have xp don't use thumnail view for that file, but f8 safe mode is the easiest
