Recommend me a dvd burning program

I've recently and always used nero burning rom 7, It's always worked been a great program trusted and true.

But now I want to use a custom button and nero burning rom 7 seems very limited in this. I've created my own button but it still appears with a black back ground behind it witch sorta makes it ugly and makes me a little annoyed.

Can anyone recommend a program like nero burning rom that allows you to make customized menus and such? I'm willing to try a few out till I find a good one. I mainly just want to be able to use a transparent image instead of a gay little star that I usually used with nero burning rom 7.

(Please note I'm looking for a program that will convert the .avi files to .dvd as well, I don't really care for the hassle of converting it myself then burning. If I wanted to do that I would've just downloaded a dvd-r rip)

Right now I currently use dvd shrink for TS files and iso files so I'm good that way.

VSO convertX2DVD works great and you can make your own buttons and backgrounds in a PNG format and just put them in the "button" folder ;)

Imgburn works great for me. i switched from nero to imgburn. I liked nero but it way to big and keeps getting bigge and slower. It reminds me of adobe. i switched to foxit which is 50 times faster.

I think Nero is the best DVD burning utility now , i use Nero 7 ,not the latest version but work great :)

I'm nowadays using Ashampoo Burning Studio 2007, and it does its work very well. I do not miss anything.

imgburn way better than nero for burning, just try it and you will see...

ConvertXtoDvd is really good and simple , all you do is drag the .avi file to the program window, press convert, and it converts it and burns it streight away , no hassle , really nice and simple

If you are talking about DVD Authoring, then you can use TmpgEnc DVD Author.
