If you have an american IP you have to listen to Spotify using a proxy from a country where Spotify is allowed, such as an English proxy.

How would one go about doing that? Spotify is an exe, not a website.

I'm aware of that, but you actually can use Spotify via a proxy. If you have Spotify just go to Edit --> Preferences --> proxy, there you can type in a proxy to use. I don't know how to set it up because I have no need for it my self, but i know that it should work.

That might work if we were still able to open the application, but as it stands right now, we can't even do that. :dabs:

Change the country then change then change the proxy to that county.

Again, I can't even open the app so I can't set a proxy.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. When it trys to load up it should have an error and allow you to make adjustments.
