Can you use a seedbox for torrents and hosting a website?

I hosted my blog on my seedbox, you need server access tho (remote access). Shared seedboxes with just a webui won't let you do it.

technically no, not on the "seedbox" but on your server, of course if you have only webui access thats no good.

u must have root access.
if you run windows, you can use ISS that comes built in, or a more user friendly frontend. i'd recommend the free single-user licence of Plesk. It does it all for you.

hmmm...how about using a dedicated server as a seedbox instead?

You can basically do torrenting and host websites and much more on a dedi if you've got root access, anything which requires a host.

If you have Linux i recommend install XAMPP (http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html) , if you have windows install AppServ (http://www.appservnetwork.com/) or WAMPSERVER (http://www.wampserver.com/).
