I think on any sites which you requires you to log in.

Sites have this feature just in case you've forgotten to log out on a public computer, so if you've not been on the site browsing for more than 15 minutes it will automatically log you out.

As simple as that.

i doubt every tracker with a shoutbox has one built with ajax. i also doubt you know what you are talking about:dabs:

Don't forget that its also useful to have if its not your computer/its a shared computer. Having it log of means no-one can mess with your account ;)

the point is preventing the server and tracker to fall cause of many accounts are connected to it.
