Eureka Leaves BitHDTV!!

Dear BiT-HDTV members,

With pain in our heart we inform you that after this release we will no longer release our encodes through BiT-HDTV.

The reason for leaving BiT-HDTV has to do with a difference of opinion with the staff of BiT-HDTV about what's bad behaviour and how to handle it. Maybe we are too sensitive when it comes to member comments, maybe BiT-HDTV is allowing too much, but it actually doesn't matter. BiT-HDTV should do as they please, because it's their site and we, as guests, should leave if we cannot accept their policies. And that is what we, after months of trying to change BiT-HDTV, decided to do.

We want to thank BiT-HDTV for giving us the opportunity to release about 230 encodes here and wish them all the best for the future. Most of all we want to thank the members that supported us.

EuReKA will certainly return somewhere soon. We are in the process of evaluating our options.

I do love a good e-drama. :lol: Although, if I'm honest, I think it's a big loss for BitHDTV and it'll be interesting to see where this goes.

They have their "powerful" group of internal enconders. There would be fights which one is the best.

Edit: If I had to guess I would bet my money on staying, but this is just a guess

eureka is fully right.rules are clear in all trackers, you should have respect to uploaders.and this uploaders(encoders) is not some simple, which makes bithd respectful in all tarckers.they are not deserving what they request.only respect.

and they warn as they sad, staffs and mods.but how you can warn mods, who are online only once a weeek.

cuz eureka already banned:unsure: from hdbits and there was a bad past between Rabomil and hdbits... and i am pretty sure they wont go to scenehd cuz scenehd only allowing scene releases and i already saw admin deleted one eureka release when it upload for "this is not scene" about a few weeks ago...
maybe TL cuz ppl respecting and downloading eureka releases on TL but they need sources and i didnt see any source on tl so maybe they will go with another "HD" dedicated tracker or we can see a new HD tracker:naughty:

From this thread, it seems to me that the group was bigger than the tracker, always a bad sign, especially if they just up and leave.

Great for the tracker when they are there, leave and not so good.

Yep Eureka and their uploads was FL over there.

Wich was one of the reasons many people i know joined bitHDTV :happy:

I may be interpreting this incorrectly Cabalo, but Eureka themselves are uploading to Usenet now? If so, this would be a great thing for me. I would rather download HD movies from Usenet than a tracker.

yeah, they moved to usenet, they won't be using trackers to upload their contents, as they don't want to have to abid by tracker's rules.
and usenet is free of rules.

i don't think rules at bit-hdtv count for all that much. look at how they kept the rule of not having hdbits internal encodes on there.

downloading HD from a semi-pub like demonoid would suck hard lol. esp eureka's since they're the biggest sized encodes around.

or maybe neither.. you are always atleast two parties in an argument :).. disagreements doesn't necessarily mean that there's someones fault..

anyways, i'm guessing that their releases spreads to various torrentsites even now after they moved over to usenet? So everyone should still be able to download their rips i assume?
