Hi, ive noticed the kazaa network is becoming less and less more popular? (only 3.2 million) :( . im lookin for some rare dance hits. kazaa only has a few of them available  . what other program cud i use? that has a gud chance of getting them?

Also riaa are sueing ppl and putin fake files on the kazaa (fasttrack) network. does that happen on other networks? (piolet etc)

Piolet is good, but there's still not a large user base built up yet...it only allows sharing of mp3 & ogg
files, so it's completely centered around music.
eMule WOULD be good for music if there were a big site with ed2k links for .rar'd albums...but there's not (working on it).
ShareReactor used to index music Releases, but Sony threatened to sue them.

Actually there are lots:
http://emuleplus.sourceforge.net/forum/ind...?showtopic=2186 (http://emuleplus.sourceforge.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=2186)

Sharereactor still have music release on their forum but not on the site. The forums slow though.

:) glad i could help [its actually my own thread]. I agree with your thoughts on SR forums, but its pretty great with all the content there is on it when you can get on. But with 100,000 members im not suprised its slow most of the time.

may i ask what exactly are on the sharereactor forum? links to ftp or just announcements for releases?

thisiswhoweare

no ftp links, but there are announcements.
Server information, releases, requests, reshares regarding downloadings on the edonkey network for tv series, movies, games, applications, 18+ content, anime, basically verified file links....like what kazaa and sig2dat do, but for emule :)

ha ha ha ha, yeah right. Kazaa has to be the most over rated p2p program ever. With all the songs infected with the dreaded screechy sound these days.

kazaa lite used to be best until riaa started fukin abt, also i get alot of "more sources needed" which is annoying. im using piolot now, must say i like it! :D will be using k-lite for things i cant get on piolot, but as soon as piolot has more users. bye bye klite.....i will still use klite for my "software n movies" tho B)

I have noticed that SuprNova (http://suprnova.tk) has a lot of that Dance, Electro and Techno music in its database. Many guys from Europe add the latest albums weeks before they are even known here in the US. However, they only have full albums and no single songs but that isn't all that bad :D
