PLEASE READ THE NOTES BEFORE YOU CHOOSE A DOWNLOAD

SubDownloader is a program for automatic download/upload subtitles for videofiles (DIVX,MPEG,AVI,VOB,etc) and DVD's using fast hashing.

Providing a friendly interface, users have a better movie experience since searching for subtitles is no longer dull or boring. SubDownloader follows the KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) priciple. You just want to watch a good movie, right?! So, subtitle searching and matching for your movies should be a simple task. It is now! :-)

SubDownloader is a great application that can save your a lot of time when searching for subtitles of TV Shows or Movies downloaded from the internet. How many times have you wasted your time downloading subtitles that do not match a particular scene release? This is where SubDownloader comes in - it fully automates the process of subtitle searching and downloading.

The latest version of SubDownloader is v.2.0.9. Although earlier versions of this program were distributed under the GPL license, version 2.0.9 is released as a 30 day shareware. I haven't found a serial key or an activation code for v2.0.9 (maybe i didn't search enough). However the version which I use currently (2.0.5.1) is not shareware and does not require activation. If you don’t want to buy or crack v2.0.9 you can use v2.0.5.1 which still has almost all major features of the program.

You can grab the shareware version from the homepage... http://www.subdownloader.net/

and there are no working cracks/keygens/patches YET!

Thanks to 'elguaxo' to pointing me to this thread:
There are detailed instructions howto compile SubDownloader from source on Windows without any shareware nags and etc.:
