i made a new comp, all works. put in a geforce 4 64MB graphix card. still worked. then i switched my comp off then wen i came bak later it wudnt start. there was no beep after a few secs of turnin it on, but wen i took the card out it all works, but dont work wen i put it in. there is nothin in the setup 2 switch from onboard 2 AGP. ne ideas ppl?

is there not an option to disable the onboard graphics card in your bios?

no. wen it did work, i switch the comp off, put it in nd it worked. then wen i shut it down then bak on later it didnt work. it still dont work. cud b a faulty card?

Do you have your motherboard manual, perhaps in there it will tell you how to disable your onboard graphics

it dont say ne thing bout disabling the onboard graphix. all it says is it supports up2 8x AGP

It's probably NOT a faulty card as you said that it works.

You are having a driver loading problem, that's why your comp won't boot.

Go to your Device Manager and see what's going on.

there are no conflicts or anything in device manager. everything works fine, just it dont start wen i try the graphix card

but if he his gfx card dont work how is he gonna go to the device manager. nothing is gonna show up.

itz strange how it did work tho, but once i shut down the comp it stoped workin
