SCC is very reputed tracker..better pretimes even than sct ..but low leechers always..hard to survive if u r into downloading..but as said they do have free mp3/0day section... still there few leechers..

Pretimes are very good.
Speeds are very good on the newer torrents, don't know bout the older ones though.
Freeleech on mp3/0day and packs so keeping a ratio is very easy.

Great tracker. If they had older stuff and more torrents, they could easily be number one. Love those freeleech packs and MP3s.

scc is in my opinion the best of the scene (0sec ones) sites. Archive section which is sick for older stuff and packs (all freeleech), the best pretimes, lots of mp3 (all freeleech as well). It is also not an effort to maintain a ratio, so long as you seed the packs for as long as possible, and if you jump on new stuff fairly quick, you should be able to seed back to a ratio of above one (depending on your home connection, mine is 3:1).

SCC is for the type of kids who have naked/seminaked girls in their avatar.

The biggest problem with this immaturity is that nobody seeds long enough. Here, for comparison, is SCC with some seedtime rules (36hrs or 1:1 or h&r for 1.5 overall ratio holders) v. FTN with no seedtime or ratio and a smaller userbase.

Torrents die faster at SCC.

Compare snatches to number of seeds and notice that FTN retains way higher seeder percentages on its torrents, despite smaller userbase, lower snatches and no minimum seed time or ratio requirements.

It becomes even more apparent if you look at releases older than 3-4 days.

First of all, basilhaydens thanks for your post. Just the kind of info I was looking for in my thread.

On topic: Scc is a very good tracker, though it could be much better. I'm not complaining, though. The speed is there, so are the pretimes, true that the torrents life ain't long. Personally I don't mind downloading some old torrent a slower speed as long as I'm downloading it.

SCC is the fastest, one of the most secure 0day trackers around, you would be lucky if you could be apart of it. Thing is, when comparing SCC to FTN we have about 4x as many peers as they do. ScT then has like 60% more peers than SCC.

Keeping ratio should be a piece of cake no matter what your connection speed. If you jump on a ~20 GB pack and seed for a couple days even at like 30 KB/s you'll get like 10 GB upped easily. There's freeleech on MP3/0day and packs, and SCC places a high priority on big releases, for obvious reasons. for popular groups like LOL and DIMENSION, as well as RELOADED, SCC destroys in pre times, as SPX kinda made reference to.

Interesting stat: last Christmas SCC had about 40 000 peers, and now there's about 110 000. A lot more seedboxes are on the site now, as a few people have mentioned.

I'd consider you lucky to get an invite there as they've become more rare nowadays :P

I have a 30/5 Mbps home connection and my DL speed is always maxed out in sct. Almost in every torrent especially in the new ones.
In scc my download speed barely reached 70% of what i get in sct. Sometimes less than half on new torrents.

I can find mostly everything that i look for in scc, but why DL there when i can get it faster at sct. And if you have a good buffer in sct, you wont have to worry about uploading....It's easier than it seems to get a good buffer at sct. There tons of new packs each day. I built a 300GB buffer in less than a month.

SCC is awesome imo. They straight up kick ass. Altho it can be a bit of a challenge to build a good ratio without a fast home connection or seedbox. The reason being that they have blistering speeds and somewhat smallish swarms. You don't want to be late jumping on a new release cuz you'll have a hard time making 1:1. They have a great free leech section for 0day apps as well as TV, Movie and Games Packs in the archieve section. It may not be the easiest site to hit 1:1 on but you can count on them to max your connection almost every time (well, most connections anyway). I have a 16/2 connection and I still end up renting a slot on a seedbox about once every 3 months or so, but I don't mind...it's worth it imo. ;)

for scc it's easy to hit 1:1 on your global ratio. just seed packs, new or old. or be lame and auto-dl and seed the music section. it's hard to seed 1:1 on regular to stuff though.
