i wouldnt mess with them. th eonly reason u might want them is if you are downloading multiple large files from the internet at once. try download.com, they have a great listing.

If you mean a download manager, FlashGet is the best. It's got a learning curve. But it downloads from sites that NO other download manager can. :P

I use Get Right and i think its great, the browser is real handy too, havent tried flashget but ill be gettin it cause it lets u save all those flash images n suff dosent it?
