When I try connecting to AIM, an error screen pops up and says that it has experienced a problem and I closes itself

i had the same problem with trillian, you need the latest version of both software to connect.

AIM servers go down sometimes.. my sn wouldnt log in for a few hours once.. it eventually worked.. Worked ever since..
