Ooo, scary out here :ph34r:

I need to know how I can plug my guitar thru the pc, I have a line in Jack but nothing seems to record.
I have tried with the windows recorder, Windows movie maker and Cool Edit Pro 2.0
But can't seem to get any results.........any ideas??? :blink:

Not being funny Gen and I apreciate your help but I need to know for sure that something works, I'm on dailup so any large programme take years to d/l :rolleyes:

it's only 2.5 meg, so even on dial up, it'll take about 10 mins or so...

Thanx Gen, I d/l'd it but it made no difference :(

I have discovered it's a hardware prob, I have Cool Edit Pro and it's a great programme but I am just getting so much noise.

I've asked in Hardware world.

You could do it by using Sound Recorder. Use a 3.5in microphone lead from your amplifier to your sound card to the line-in.

I tried that, for some reason I get nothing at all, possibly a line in problem there :(
