;) Ok.....since everybody else talks about anything and everything in here now I thought I would bring this up.

A fter working on my Database for the past few days or so(have reached 3500....should have 4000 in Database in a couple of DAYs), I decided to start up again on working with the Program.

As you can see the links on the Right side that I have added in the Past.....what other Links do you think might be helpful to a Music Collector or a MP3 Collector?

Yes I had Google on there but took it down.....OrangeCD has a Web Search Tool that Searches either Google, AltaVista, Yahoo! and Lycos so no Search Engines needed.

perchance a search for band member, as several solo artists seem to make appearences on everone else's recordings?

well, since ya have winmx (SUCKS!) up there, you may consider much better items like bit torrent and newsgroups.

 I do not know any of them. But you just reminded me I need to put EncSpot up below Tag and Rename....even though it does not have a Site anymore.

*I found a Link that will do for EncSpot I guess.EncSpot (http://www.guerillasoft.nstemp.com/EncSpot2/index.html)
Have added that under Tag and Rename.*

Ok, here is my recommendation:

CrumbCat's Amazing Album Cover Finder

Two text boxes, one is for the artist name, another is for the album name.

Either one or both can be filled in.

Here is an example (using White Lion - The Best of White Lion) of how it works:

~Artist Name Only (results = multiple albums by named artist):
http://www.slothradio.com/covers/?artist=White+Lion&album=

~Album Name Only (results = named album by many (if available) artists):
http://www.slothradio.com/covers/?artist=&...t+of+White+Lion (http://www.slothradio.com/covers/?artist=&album=The+Best+of+White+Lion)

~Artist and Album Name (named album by named artist):
http://www.slothradio.com/covers/?artist=W...t+of+White+Lion (http://www.slothradio.com/covers/?artist=White+Lion&album=The+Best+of+White+Lion)

Take a look at the following page to see how it works by itself:
CrumbCat's Amazing Album Cover Finder (http://www.slothradio.com/covers/)

Maybe a good idea, maybe a bad idea......who knows.

You are absolutely right, slothdog.

My apologies for it sounding as if I wrote it.

I was only trying to take credit here at this froum for having found such an Amazing Album Cover Finder. I left it completely in tact, so that those who use it would see it was from Slothdog.

I have given credit to you way back when I first stumbled upon it, but will give it again, and from now on.

The Amazing Album Cover Finder whih I use it found at:

http://www.slothradio.com/covers/

slothdog is due all the credit for having put it together. My thanks to him for the awesome job he has done, and for allowing anyone and everyone to use it freely.

Thanks, slothdog!

See you over at your forum.

;) Well I have a problem with it.It only searches amazon.com....when it should use allmusic.com also.

allmusic.com doesn't have an open API like amazon does....they deliberately obscure queries....

They care, because bandwidth isn't free.
