hi movie freaks!my problem is university firewall that limits my p2p dl to 1kb. I ve tried klite, emule, bt but still the same. Last time I ve used tunnel but files where corrupted after dl. is there an another way to get movies? i d like use my lan connection at full speed. some tips or ftps? thanx a lot. works mirc also p2p?

Yeah mirc can be used if the crator makes a Fileshare Server!

university computers suck, it's just 4 to much hassle, my advice go home on the weekend and download your movies...

Here bud, I have a small tutorial for that. I posted it awhile back for a friend of mine, but I forgot to take it off.

That should be all you need to get started using it, pay more attention to the bottem section for xdcc transfer of files. I must warn you though, if your only able to recieve 1kb/s then you should forget downloading movies from school. Just do it when you go home for breaks... 1kb/s = (about) 345 hours of download time...

have you tried dc++? what university do you go to? well, there are many other p2p programs out there, albeit not as popular. try ares (i think that's how you spell it ) it worked for my brother.

DC was hard to understand...think I used it for a whopping 10 minutes or so.
