Hello, I am thinking about switching my laptop from XP(sp3) to Ubuntu Desktop. However I have heard and noticed that there is a huge lack of supporting drives for my onboard wireless network.
Is there a way to overcome this without having to get a different wireless network card?
Thanks, Carl
P.S. My laptop is a Gateway MX6453 and the hardware in question is:
Gemtek 802.11b/g Wireless Networking 4311E
I would be willing to buy a new network card if It could replace my existing one internally.
