It got into my head, unfortunately.

And I don't know where it comes from.

Maybe FC will know. ;)

It's the music that's often heard in Western movies during a standoff, usually at high noon.

Even though this probably won't help, it kind of sounds like this: dodidodido dah dah DUM.

Make it stop. :( And it's not from Gunsmoke, I already looked.

Ennio Moriconne. For a few dollars more. (Lovely pocketwatch chimes?)

dodidodido dah dah DUM reminds me of the whistle from the good, bad, ugly movie

Yup...Sabbath has it. That's what popped into my head.

that dodidododido dah dah dum actually reminds me of the pan-pipe theme from Once Upon a Time in America. More Moriconne.

Wow. That was fast. Yup, it's The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.

Now I just have to find it in sheet music form. :D Unfortunately I've only found it for piano. And I've forgotten how to transpose. Sigh.

If you want help with transposing, can help. I teach harmonization. Send me the sheet if you like

If you want me to transpose this, you need to tell me what mode you want it transposed to. It's currently Am. What do you want it to be?

I assume you're using the word "transpose" for transpose not for re-arrangement, right?

It needs to be bumped up 1/4 of an octave. I've called it transposing, but if you call that re-arranging, it doesn't really matter. ;) The last time I ever did any of this type of work was well over ten years ago, so I've forgotten most of how to do it. :D

Hehe, just bumping this back up to see if sabbath's seen it since.
