Hi
This is another site that I'm wondering about recently and whether I should pursue membership there.
I'm already a member of KG, Cinemageddon, TehConnection, and Secret Cinema, for my non-scene movie needs, but I'm wondering if goem has anything special to offer that makes it unique?
Is it a good tracker and if so, what do you like about it?
Cheers

5974 (http://goem.org/browse.php?sort=0&ord=d&filter=&tag=&page=59) active torrents. I would drop tehconnection and use Goem instead, unless tehconnection has drastically improved since back when I had an account.

Goem use to be the site for the more mainstream non-scene movies. One of it's strengths is that it has a community that is knowledgeable and passionate about film .
The main downside as with most sites of his type where members can upload torrents is that the speed is incredibly unpredictable. But it's a small price to pay for getting a hard to find request filled.
I'd suggest you also check put Pass the Popcorn.I very impressed with this tracker.Good content and design. It's kind of like Goem on steroids
A tad under 5700 torrents for PassthePopcorn(with some really great stuff that you probably won't find anywhere else)
1900 torrents for tehconnection

I'd go for Passthepopcorn over either tracker they've got around 5600 MOVIE torrents. Plus it's a gazelle tracker too.

hmm I think I'll sign up at Passthepopcorn as well. I've never really thought twice about that tracker until now
edit: man the search by actor feature on PtP is pretty sweet :P

Well, I'm in goem and passthepopcorn now and they look like excellent trackers, particularly PTP (love gazelle).
Thanks for the feedback.

I was actually thinking about pursuing a Goem invite soon. But it looks like the majority thinks that PassthePopcorn may be the better tracker. I guess I'll stick with what I have than.

Goem is no doubt a very good tracker. You get free leech slots every 10 days or so. But PtP has been growing very fast. Lots of torrents added in such a small amount of time.

True. either way, it's not hard to get an invite to either of those.

Sorry for the bump, but I'm curious. Does Goem has a substantial amount of 720p torrents and activity in that section? If possible, could someone post a screenshot of that browse category or some statistics at least, to give me a good idea of what it might contain for me? Thanks.

Here you go. For some reason I can't sort it by seeders/leechers.

Thanks! It seems like they have a fair amount as well as some good retention, given that those releases are in chronological order. Not to be a pain in the butt would you post the newest 720p torrents at the end of those search results?

tehconnection has improved since your last post, there are ~7000 torrents at the moment.

If you want the biggest number of rips, and aren't bothered at all about quality, then demonoid or zamunda are probably better than the movie sites discussed.
