how come sometimes when i search for things using the search tool not all the topics show up but when i manually search for a certain topic i find it

i dont know if it relates to your problem or not but i was looking for an old post of mine and didn't find it in the search because i was only searching the last 30 days, and the post was older then that so it didn't come up.
