How to install VLC on debian box?

I have used NaQ's guide for installing my debian seedbox. However, I need to figure out how to install VLC in order to take some screenshots of videos, and i would like to avoid having to ftp the movies to my computer in order to do so.

Can anyone direct me to a tut on how to go about installing vlc?

I think you could just type "apt-get install vlc"
