There exist a freeware utility called 'regcompact' that can do the same.

NTREGOPT is another freeware app that does this.

SH, That link says regcompact only runs on 95. NTREGOPT works on NT (XP etc.) systems.

You're right regcompact doen't work with XP.

I've yet to try the other.
