seems like a crappy concept to have no ratio and open signups.. why not run a public tracker instead? with this you store information about the users for no reason at all.

Is it late nite or u r usually this slow? Open signups dsnt mean that the tracker will have them for eternity ... Its for a time period to allow some users to get in to bring some life into it .. while the term public itself entails no signup required .. Get a cup of coffee and drink it so as to re read this post if u dont understand it in the first place

true that :P.. wasn't my brightest moment it seems.

however.. if these are new sites and have open signups in order to get things going, ratiofree would suck. mainly because it requires a vast majority of the userbase to be quality members, and open signups is usually not the way to go to build such a userbase..

"while the term public itself entails no signup required" o rly? isn't that exactly the point with what i first wrote? :P..
