Anyone know them? Being using maybe? Was just curious because seems they upload a lot. Here's info from the main page:

We are a fast growing site where you will be able to find RapidShare links to just released stuff on the net - so called scene releases, which appear on the site sometimes even seconds after they've been released. It's so much different from all the warez forums and other warez sites. Everything is categorized which makes searching for the desired stuff so much easier.
There are up to 500 new releases a day, which combined with the fact those are scene releaes ONLY (checked and verified content), makes the AfterPre.com much more attractive than other similar sites.

Now something like this interests me, as I usually have to download a brand new tv show or movie from a tracker because it takes a while for the new stuff to appear on sites like WBB.

EDIT: Actually this site looks pretty great. It looks just like a tracker, but instead of downloading .torrents you're getting RS links.

http://sceneddl.net also uploads scene releases to filehosters direct from the scene with their autoscript. They get some pretty decent pre-times also.

Im not sure how fast pretimes AfterPre have vs SceneDDL.

I used SceneDDL untill i found out about AfterPre today :)

i signed up at AfterPre i like it :) it doesn't have everything but they are pretty new.. some categories are completely empty still like 0day, MVID, etc but I'll be patient looks promising for sure :)

+1. AfterPre has pretty fast pre's.

I have a couple questions:

1. Do they contain scene rars?
2. Who is their right mind would upload scene rls to RS?.

It'll take forever to dl a standard 1cd movie on a collectors account :lol:.

About time sites like these showed up! Although I like afterpre.com better, it is lacking in some content and definitely isn't as sharp looking as sceneddl.

Just tried this afterpre, just for curiosity. honest opinion, it's not the fastest but it's not bad. i felt lucky that i am still a member of some private sites that do like racing when it comes to uploading scene releases (free no need for RS account or something like that, except we help each other for server costs).

but perhaps it's premature judgement, years ago same words were spoken for bittorents sites (private trackers).

just a humble opinion though.

13,000 releases already. And they're around like 4 weeks top. I only hope they'll keep up the good work. Even found some old stuff I couldn't find anywhere else.

The concept is good, but it is always good to have more then one-set of links. Also, I can only presume this site exists for one reasons. So the owner(s) can profit from the scene. Which I find pretty disgusting.

The site is pretty decent, however some of the releases get screwed up.
For e.g. Tom.Clancys.H.A.W.X-SKIDROW is supposed to be about 6GB but on afterpre it's 1.17GB.
Another one is The.Last.Remnant-RELOADED. It's supposed to be about 9GB but afterpre has it at 3.91GB :/

Good to know that someone from afterpre has been reading this thread because it seems that those 2 releases have been fixed ... I think.

by the way dont contain the original scene RAR on the site they have

The.Tour.2008.DVDRip.XviD-REACTOR with 15 rar files and on the scene it was released with 100x15Mb RAR the NFO for that release can be found here

Split 100mb rar's are almost standard because most host only accept 100mb :blink:.

lol i've only paid once about two years ago sumfin like 10 bucks..
and since then i kept extending my account with points... :D
(especially on new year)
so it's really worth for me... it's like having a kind of ratio lol.

(some people sell those accounts, real cheap... ^_^ )

They were talking on irc about lack of donations. So probably that's the main reason. Anyhow it's a shame, since it was a good idea. On the other hand, lack of users and their activity, too.
