Fastest Dlspeed?

JUST CURIOUS....What's the fasest DLspeed you ever got from one source or more?

Mine personnaly was up to 200kb/s from one source only!
This was when I first installed K-lite.Now it hardly ever happens that I get 100kb/s from numerous sources.

(didn't know if I should've posted this topic here or in the lounge,so excuse me if i posted this in the wrong place)

speed depends on ur internet connection.

the faster that is the potential for higher download speeds.

the fastest home speeds u can get in the uk is 6mbps adsl from bulldog thats in central london.

any faster than that and ur getting into some serious hardware

In japan you get 12 - 26mb Adsl(not adsl but a varient of the same technology), they even give you a free modem at the train station

I got DSL (640/128) and that's 80 max and one time it sprung up to 300kB/s until the data caught up but on kazaa I get around 90-100

Its best to not feel bad just because you have 56K (like me :( ) the limits of technology have streched to allwo a TCP connection of 9.6 GB/s.

My highest download speed was above 90-100 Kb/S.. It really depends on the connection you have.. My connection can maxmimally reach 90-100 kb/s.. Some of my friends often have more than 160 kb/s.. They've the double speed of my connection..
But in the last time the speed has dropped a bit.. I don't know why..may be because there are less sources and some people left kazaa (f_ckers !!!)

I think i reached 400ish once on KLite although I have no proof of that. Either way at one single point I'm sure I've peaked high. But on BT files with lots of seeds and leechers I wouldn't be surprised to be in the mid 400's. I DLed Vice City at something ridiculous like 425kbs the whole time. I love my optimum online. :D

A very long time ago in computer terms -- over 10 years in fact -- there were ISA ethernet cards that ran at a terribly slow pace of 10 mbps.

Were that your full-speed internet connection, you could get about 1 MB/sec download speeds.

I don't imagine many of us do though...

On Kazaa.....I Max Out At Around 100KB/s But I Normally Hang Around 60-70 :)

Heh I've gotten 16MBs, but that was taking a file that was on my school's server. At home I've gotten around 1.3MBs, at my cap about 10megabits. I thought we were talking about p2p at first.

on a lousy 256k/64k connection.

I hit 148kb/sec for 3 secs before and usually hang around 27kb-30kb with a fair or good number of sources.

My max download speed is 10megabits 10mb/s which is about 1.25megabytes10mB/s which is something like 1234KBs

My connection is 1024kbps (1mbit) down and 256 (32kb/s) up on Telewests Blueyonder cable service.

The highest that I have ever had on Kazaa in 125kb/s download for a couple of well populer MP3s or films. This sort of speed usually comes from 1 - 2 users uploading to me...most probably from the states or Universities.

However, at University I have achieved a speed of up to 400kb/s from bittorrent whilst uploading at 150kb/s. The University that I am at is on the JANET internet backbone in the UK so it should be quite fast anyway&#33;&#33;&#33; ha ha

my fastest is like 300Kb/s didnt think to get a screen shot but i average anywhere from 50-250 i got 2 dl/s right now one is at 97Kb/s and the other is at 34Kb/s
