some stupid 'friend' of mine told me to go to this site (http://www.pakki.com) (have no idea why) but when i went there it told me to install a language pack so i did. now when i try to open and of my programs all the font is messed up and some the writing is gone. :angry: :angry: :angry: any idea how to remove the language pack?

Interesting ads on that site, "rock hard erections". I think you might have to remove all your fonts and reinstall windows, not sure though.

Do you have XP sp1, if so there is a known issue with language packs, sadly microsofts site prohibits giving away the url to the location of the article(it&#39;s copyrighted), but I found it quite easily by using google with the following search terms: "language packs" problem windows.

Q815363 is the knowledgebase-number, don&#39;t know if this will solve anything though

What OS do you have and what was the language pack for?, I apparently already have it so I can&#39;t tell what it is.

im using XP home and i have no idea what its for i got it from that wierd site (first post) and its screwing my pc up...
