Need easy photo editing program or something

I just cant cut the background from photos all i want to keep is the car and delete the rest. I have used gimp2, paint.net and corel paint shop, its just driving me mad.:angry:

Lightroom won't do you any good if you're trying to separate an image from its background. It's an involved and tedious process no matter which tools you use.

I've only done relatively simple image manipulation with GIMP, but it should be possible. I'Photoshop gives you everything you need, but it still takes time unless you want your final product to look like crap.
