it rare i watch comedy on tv but i never miss the following if they are on

the two ronnies
porridge
the fast show
the detectives
i think my favourite would have to be the fast show. accident prone alf just makes me laugh every time. especially the one when he misss bus and another comes, but he misses it because the bus stop sign falls on his head. I was in hysterics with laughter

Oh My Gosh!! Even though it's on it's last run this season I am so into the Drew Carey show!! I didn't really think I would or could get into it...All it took was my friend forcing me to sit down and watch one episode..Now I'm hooked.

So sad to see it go.. :(

I think CNN is pretty funny. Especially when they mouth off about how stupid people have to be to be out watching a hurricane and then the camera man gets smacked in the back of the head with a sheet of plywood. lol

Seinfeld
Malcolm in the middle

but the show that tickles me the most is, Titus. its a shame they ended it. same can be said about Mind of the Married Man.

Friends started out great but it seems more like a commercial thingy [english is not my first language] with the million dollars paychecks and all that kinda press.

Lastly, TITUS rocks

The Horror fanatic

they should end friends full stop, it just aint funny any more. i stopped watching after series 4 of it. They are paid way too much. why not stop it and spend it on newer comedy i say, rather than those money grabbers.

jbrockz
09-21-2003, 05:27 AM
true...i don't know why 'they' think its natural to start having romantic relationships among characters...'Caroline in the City' was good until richard and caroline got together...then it all went downhill...frasier, on the other hand, toyed with the infatuation of niles towards dafny[?] for seasons, and it was awesome.

friends, with the ross and rachel, and the babies and the marraiges and all should get a full-stop.

The Horror fanatic
09-21-2003, 05:42 AM
it like with cheers once shelley long left it was not the same. i always watched that as well. that spawned fraser. i guess after a few series they run out of ideas

It never was funny in the first place.....

i guess the biggest problem with long-runnig series is, there is nuthing left to explore in the characters...the personalities are all laid out and they just seem to be reacting to it

friends was funny at times....just not always...there are some under the drama genre like six feet under and angel that are better at cracking you up than friends.
