Comic Suggestions?

I really enjoy alternate comics, I love elseworlds, what if and DC vs Marvel ones, can someone please recommend some more?

Try John Byrne's Generations for Elseworlds, Hellblazer, The Sandman, The Dreaming and the comic that spawned the whole DC Vertigo line, Alan Moore's run of Swamp Thing (Issues 20-64).

It's a proposal to DC comics from Alan Moore around 1987 about a comic he wished to script called Twilight of the Superheroes.
In the end, DC turned it down which is an absolute tragedy if you ask me.
It's quite long but very rewarding if you're a comic geek.

Mutant X was my favorite. I still don't know where the hell Havok is. (Cyclop's brother of the X-Men).
