here i got it off the bittorent fourm dont know if it works



make your own LAN server then press alt+tab and open haloserv, then click on add server and make a name.keep haloserv open and go back into halo.it should have an error message now.exit halo fully and close haloserv.go back in halo and create a new LAN server and wait for people to join.
that way worked for me
