If you have a PS3 - the best coop game I have play is LittleBigplanet. No doubt.

If you're playing NES stuff on emulators, I'd recommend Battle city. One of the best games ever made, imo.

Hehe, yea Battle City that brings good old memories back. Thats also a fun little game. Damn I have played that game alot.
