I am looking for a Windows XP release preferably the one which has SP3 integrated. I found the following releases on TL

Microsoft Windows XP Professional N Retail SP3 Integrated-ETH0 (233 seeds)
Microsoft Windows XP Professional Corporate SP3 Integrated-ETH0 (146 seeds)
Microsoft Windows XP Professional Student Edition SP3 Integrated-ETH0 (53 seeds)

This is the first time I am downloading XP. I have heard that the third one (Student edition) doesn't require any c*ack. Which one should I get? From the looks of it, the first one is the most popular. Have any one of you got it working yet?

Get the one with the most seeds , they all have a key that doesn't require activation . By the name I would lean towards the corporate version myself .

The only good release of WinXP is original, untouched MSDN image. Corporate, of course. Get a genuine key somewhere (I borrwed my key from school PC), Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder v1.51 will help you ;)

Corporate pro is no different from retail pro. Just the licensing.

i recommend sp2

May I ask why?

I've been running SP3 for over a year now without any problems that I know of, so info on what exactly is better with SP2 would be great.

Are the regularly released WGA cracks needed in order to update these windows releases?
Some updates are actually worth getting...lol

I use

Microsoft Windows XP Professional Student Edition SP3 Integrated-ETH0

But I just installed on a new pc and I had to use the wga crack it would not pass the genuine advantage, they might have blocked those keys from all new installs since they dont give that out anymore.

Heh...every time MS updates WGA, it gets cracked the next day...lmao

I eventually got tired of playing cat n mouse and bought a legit key..did the same with my AV.
Those two things I won't leave to chance or p2p...OS and AV.

Anyone who knows anything uses the student edition. The key passes WGA and the release requires no crack. Also, it is the pro edition of XP - I don't know why ETH0 even bothered releasing the corporate editions. Student is like corporate without the hassle of a crack/patch and with a legit key.

Not anymore it wont, you need a wga crack now for the student edition.

Just search around you will see. This key has been removed for new installs from MS.

That's odd. I update my laptop a few days ago when the new WGA appeared. My laptop is running just fine.

You can still update try a new install, you wont pass the wga, if you already passed it then its fine I have 3 here running on that copy and there fine but they have been running for awhile. If you do a new install you wont pass when you first try to update.

Yeah the updates don't check for WGA. It's when you want to install a new copy or download certain things from MS that they do a WGA check.

Hey youbee I said it first . :D I'v yet to see a student version ( Etho ) fail WGA yet . I did install two this weekend , so not saying it will not get blacklisted but just wondering . :)

Both were winupdated as I won't give back to a friend till tried , tested and true .

Ok see what you mean , I' don't run WGA validation but if can't update just run this simple Regscript :

LOL. I seriously wonder where you pulled this out of. For the record, it's complete garbage.

I reinstalled Windows about 2 weeks ago with the ETH0 student edition. Just checked WGA, it passed.

Additionally, it would literally be impossible for MS to block this key for use in installation as the key doesn't actually activate. They could block it from passing WGA, but they haven't. I seriously wonder what motivates people like you to post incorrect info like this.

I prefer myself to just grab the MSDN untouched ISO's, I have a legit key, so I don't have to worry about WGA, and there are legit ones out there (don't ask I won't give)...then I use nLite to slipstream in updates/service packs...

Isn't Microsoft dropping XP support pretty soon? My HDD started acting funny so I just reinstalled my OS and I finally installed Vista and I went 64-bit so i can use my 4 gigs of RAm. XP can only use 2.75 gigs on my system.

My suggestion would be to move on to Vista. It seems just as fast for me plus it has DX 10.

I think you owe Ryan an apology you dumb fuck . :yup:

By the way I do have the new key if anyone needs it .
