Animation Question

I have a large animated gif and I wish to delete the background to it and just keep the person in the middle. Is there a program which will do this process ?

Use the magic wand and cut the area in witch the person in the middle isnt.

Ta, ill have a look at that. I'm trying not to make background transparent but deleted because of space. Which program did you mean originally btw?
