Well the .net just means that it contains the code for and produces programs with the new microsoft .net stuff (just google it if you don't know what it is), i dunno exactly about the enterprise architect bit, but that will be the designation of which packages it contains.

One is called .Net Enterprise Architect.

anyway the enterprise version will let you compile your code while the other one probably won't.
this was always the case with older versions so i dont think it would have changed with the .net release.
enterprise architect seems to be the most complete version of the visual studio .net http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/howtobuy/choosing.aspx
