how did u guys activate it...i used the phone trick under the serial key...thats how i did it...and registeration takes forever...does liveupdate still work....

Um, I did the phone thing too, just as the instructions told, and registartion didnt take me that long, just make sure your totaly dissconected from the internet, which means if u have Broadband, UNPLUG your computer from the internet.

BTW, whats TMG stand for....? :unsure:

do you mean a crack for ur liveupdate...for virus defitions...do u have that crack by chance....

and can we pls post this on Kazaa so other memebers can get this file....i am sharing mine but i will stop if i dont see anyone sharing...

You just do as said in the instructions. Follow the procedure and you'll have it. Worked for me very well.

Yeah, I had that same problem too, so I downloaded it HERE (http://www.emptylogic.com/suprnova/torrents/190/Norton_Live_Update_Until_year_2041-zip.torrent) (Bittorrent) without any problems. ;)

It may be a stupid question but I can't find the exact directory that I need to put the new file in. Maybe I did, and it's just not working? Will it say next to the renewal date 2041? Let me know! Thanks in advance!

This is where I put it: windows - all users - application data - symantec - live subscribe

You should make an backup of the old file in case it doesn't work.

One other question, in the readme file it says, step number 3-set the new unter protection, otherwise Live-Update set it back --> important!! What the hell does that mean? lol, how do I set that up?

What EXACTLY is "bittorent"? I went to one of the mirror sites for Suprnova.org and followed a few links however not much was explained about it.

Perhaps it is just too damn early in the morning, but I do not have clue what it is.

bittorrent is a p2p program or sort of...you download bittorrent...its not a program that you open and click on search and stuff like that...you just download it..install it and you go to suprnova.org and then you click on the links and it will install it for u automatically...

Emule has the rarest of stuff that cant be found on kazaa or bittorrent, thus for a price you can get it at over 30kb/s ushally.. but it&#39;s totally worth the wait.

To be quite honest, I do not know which is the greater of the two evils; not sharing or sharing and then setting your upload bandwidths to damn near zero. I have been stumbling across alot of these scenarios as of late. :angry:

But DSL is becoming cheaper everyday. Even basic 348dl/56up kbps speeds can often be found for under &#036;25/month these days. Everyone has a deal of sorts going on. You may want to consider shopping around soon.

Problem is, I live in the country, aka, the middle of now were, (and no I&#39;m not a hic). And my mom doesnt wanna have to pay any more for internet than she is already, (16&#036; a month for 56k) and as soon as I get a job (I&#39;m only 15) I&#39;m gonna do SOMETHING....anything about this &#036;#&#33;tty dial up crisis of mine.

Its extremly easy to use, all you do is download this Bittorrent client, TheSHAD0W&#39;s EXPERIMENTAL BITTORRENT CLIENT 5.8 (http://home.elp.rr.com/tur/BitTorrent-experimental-S-5.8-w32install.exe). Works very well, and start downloading off SuprNova (http://www.suprnova.org). And your done. :D
