Hi everyone, I'm looking for a Windows Vista Ultimate DVD x86 that has not been integrated or updated or patched or cracked.

I just want a clean copy. Can anyone please help me?

You want the MSDN ISO image that has all versions and lets you choose which one you want the best one and the most available one, sadly it's not on Usenet anywhere, I've lost my paid for copy of Ultimate, or should I say someone little turd broke it  But anyway, I've found many links to Rapidcrap and the like, so maybe somebody will see this thread and upload one.

Yeah I just want a clean copy of a Ultimate disk. I've got the license for Ultimate but I just want a clean 1:1 copy of the Vista Ultimate disk. Cany anyone please help? The only disk I've got is an OEM Vista Home Premium which unfortunately does not contain Ultimate.

Any VISTA distribution is... simply not going to work! Where have you been? Microsoft has completely locked their system, so that in order to activate the OS, one needs to contact (through the internet, of course) the Microsoft activation server.

Of course, any commercial outfit bundling h/w and s/w has no problem, and for anyone actually buying the s/w intending to install on x h/w, you MUST have an internet connection to activate it.

Now, maybe there's some cleaver folks out there to get around this, but basically they'd have to also disable all the 'talk-back' (through the internet again, of course) parts of the OS to prevent any 'dead codes' being sent to your pirated copy. Again, you could simply never connect it up (to the internet), but....

It's a pretty tight system.

Err, yeah we both have legit Vista keys that we bought, but no DVD either got broken or lost.

Oh, I'm running Vista on my other box cracked and it's doing just fine, so my disto works and so does most people with the Vista Boot Loader :shifty:

Damn, I would have thought by now SOMEONE would have been willing to upload a clean 1:1 copy of their Vista Ultimate disc. Oh well. :(

Search google for "WinDows VisTa Sp1 - x86 x64 - DvD9 - MsDn - UntouChed"

It has both x86 and x64 versions and it includes ultimate and it's straight from MSDN.

That's not the point I stated that in my previous posts...that image is not on Usenet, which is where we are requesting it, not rapidcrap, megaupoad, torrents or any other junk.

WE want a untouched copy of Windows Vista (can be MSDN) but Ultimate with NO SP1 or any updates a 1:1 COPY

Oh no service pack at all?

Cause I just spotted "en_windows_vista_with_service_pack_1_x86_dvd_x14-29594" on usenet. I don't know if anyone would upload the original version without SP anymore. The key should work on SP1 anyways.

Well for me SP1 would be fine, I will just slipstream over SP1 when SP2 becomes final, as long it's not a BIE release or any other release groups, Vista Loader works still and I'd rather not have it integrated on install, so technically if someone has a MSDN of Windows Vista SP1 would be fine, no integrated keys, no integrated cracks/patches/etc. Updates for me would be fine, as long as it's not WGA patches and the like. So pretty much a *new* MSDN image would contain the SP1 and all updates up until this month. I think the MSDN images are released with updates and the like too on a regular basis, don't know that for sure as I don't have a MSDN account, or I wouldn't be asking for one, all we have are ones that integrated already and for some odd reason after every re-boot the release team's key gets re-installed. So dunno, not to concerned though.

I have a MSDN account but it's expired. I do have access to my CD-Keys and it shows me the file names and crc and hashes of the downloads but I can't download any ISOs. Both the ones that I mentioned should be MSDN untouched ISOs but they are at SP1. On MSDN right now there is also a Vista SP2 Release Candidate image.

Like I said there are untouched images of Vista ultimate out there but not on Usenet right now and I don't see anyone just uploading a vista iso without SP1 at this point in time.

Well I'm not even seeing just a MSDN of SP1 even out there.....

This is the info from MSDN. Search for "x86_dvd_x14-29594" on Usenet and you will find it. It's 140 days old. I could post the nzb file for it if it's not against the rules.

Yeah that's the one. It should be the one from MSDN.

Should or Is?

Judging by the name it should be. Compare the CRC with the one I posted once you get it. ISO/CRC: CE4CB528

Can anyone confirm this is a 1:1 copy of Vista? Doesn't matter if it's got SP1 in it. So long as it hasn't been tampered with in anyway.

Dunno yet, only 16% done, looks like it is though.

saulin

Yes it is. CRC matches. Just download part28.rar and open it in Winrar and it will show you the CRC that corresponds to the iso.

I was in Staples the other day getting raped for printer ink and noticed they want like $230 for Vista Ultimate. What a racket.
