a friend of mine told me that if you reach upload status on LM, you receive invites to many of the highest level trackers. is this true? thanks :D

You have to donate to get invites if you're regular user.
Uploaders have invites, I know this coz I've been invited by uploader who's not donator.

Here's quote from the rules:

Older users have some invitations. At this time, invitations are not handled automatically.

Remember that you can not distribute invitations to anyone. If the one you called, racketeers or otherwise harm the LM, you will receive a warning.

Invitations sale is prohibited.

redMonster, I think that You have invites just coz you've been on LM for a long time (and you had not been giving them away) or because you're an uploader. Am I right?
