How can someone compress mp3 files?

not to the same effect, no

compressing with winrar will take off such a small amount as to be negligible in the real world

Aren't mp3 files small enough? Hell, you can stick a bunch of 'em right in your pockets. :blink:

If u really want to compress em then just make them into .ogg files it will compress a 100mb cd into 30-40 mb

mp3 pro i hear you say what the fuck well i just read about it its says it can deliver higher qualtity sound in smaller files eg 5mb mp3 = 2mb mp3pro

to encode use musicmatch jukebox 8

is mp3 pro just like variable bitrate mp3s trying to sound less complicated?

yea, reincode it as vbr.. you can save space by converting a 192 file.. the good guitar rifts etc might be 192 and the rest that doesn need as much detail would be at 128..
