The Pirate Bay Trial: The Official Verdict - Guilty

Just minutes ago the verdict in the case of The Pirate Bay Four was announced. All four defendants were accused of ‘assisting in making copyright content available’. Peter Sunde: Guilty. Fredrik Neij: Guilty. Gottfrid Svartholm: Guilty. Carl Lundström: Guilty. All receive 1 year in jail.

I didn't mean it would die. I simply meant that another filesharing method would become more popular.

this means nothing.. it will just be appealed at this point.. and i find it pretty funny that the verdict was leaked just like movies .. lol

Maybe they'll stop using the Internet and share their releases through hard copy?

Haha that happens in countries where internet access is such a luxury. For example in central america you can go anywhere and get a copy of the latest movies for DVD or you can pick up your favorite music. Music CDs are $1 and DVD Movies are $1.5. And there is no anti piracy organization shutting them down there. It's all done freely there.
