any 1 know of any good sites that allow you to send text from your pc to a mobile phone overseas.
preferlyly 1 that dont swamp your pc with pop ups, from U.K. to overseas

try www.o2.co.uk (http://www.o2.co.uk). you get either 100 or 200 free sms a month but you have to register with them.

i havent tried sending them overseas but i dont imagine it would be a problem :D

you can do it via msn if they have set up the mobile on their msn. :P

you set up an account with your mobile number, and then to send the msg free you just type it in, and click on one of their ad's to send it. i think it's a 150 character max

the one i posted is from your pc, you just need a mobile number to start it off, i used someone else's :D

edit - i dont know anyone in thailand tho', have a bash anyways :D

my mate hasnt had anything spamwise and i've used it a few times over the last couple of months, i've never heard anything from them either - i think they can manage it because of the ad that you click on displays a page, but as it wasnt my number, i didnt bother with the small print :D

i think they need the number for something to do with the network that your phone is on
