Don't think that is possible on a small server like the DS4000 unless you install some kind of virtualization-software and offer 3 or 4 instances with full admin-rights.

Best way to share a DS4000, in my opinion, is assigning every user his/her own IP (4 supplied) for FTP & torrentclient but possibly sharing the download-directory to avoid doubling or quadrupling the downloads.

Hope Submission can shed some light on this; personlly I would not share a DS4000 with more than 1 other person but maybe my personal demands are a bit higher than the average person on these forums.

there's no tflux. There's shell access. Gonna use rtorrent because its lightest on resources.

Franstormer: dont spam my thread with questions. Aren't you an op in vars or bigsb? One of the reasons i want to get my own server is because those guys shove 12 people onto a ds4000.
