Here's a question, if someone isn't willing to share any files themselves, how do we boot them from downloading from the rest of us. I may not be sharing over 3000, but I do share.

Why do people keep asking how to do this I guess it's time to put this in the FAQ or something.

but if they are gonna stop sharing cuz of one post they saw ---

sigh, that's what I suspected.Oh well, I guess I'll just piss and moan awhile. I asked couse on soulseek, you do have the option of booting a user, and banning them from your list. Something to think about. That may eleminate alot of leaches. Yes, I know I am a newbee, but only on kazza. To this day I have never paid for anything on the net except for my server, and that only so I can have DSL

although there's no way to accurately determine if someone is a leech, there is a quick/easy way to ban someone you suspect

just get their ip from kdat/netstat, then add it to the blocklist...

Theres a privacy patch on kazaa so you cant realy know. <_<
