Ripping Dvd's

I have a freeware called easydivx .
This program took 20 hours to rip one dvd is this normal ?
Does anyone know anything about this program ?
Does anyone know of a better program ? (free) :(

got to suprnova's site they have ones which arnt free but come with serials, craks or keygens.
