I'll start

The sodomy law just got overturned. (federal)
Now while I am not gay this was a stupid law (adopted by some states) to begin with.
If 2 lesbians want to eat each others twat in the comfort of their own home let them go. Most of these politicians were getting fallatio (poor Yorick) which was also illegal.
DUMB LAW aimed at homosexuals.

Heres a dumb law for you. Not sure if this is true, but I have found it on many sites to be true.

In a certain city in texas, it is legal to commit homicide, as long as you give a 24 hour notice on paper, or by voice, to the person you are going to kill, and what you are going to use

No shiting either. That one is pretty fucked up....

I have found it many times so I dunno

Also one city in one state its illegal to have an ice cream cone in the back of your pocket...

*sigh*

here's a strange law in where i live,

It's illegal to NOT wear helmets while riding a bike or else the cops will slap $100 and if you don't wear a helmet, it feels kinda like a taboo :(

That IS illegal in the US and it doesn't seem strange.
Here also it's illegal to NOT wear seat belts while driving (including passengers).
You get a fine, points on your license and insurance.
Because we are so free here they make laws to make you safer.

I think it should be illegal not to wear a helmet expically when on a motorcycle and same with no seatbelts on in a car should be illegal

If you ride a bicycle on the street you SHOULD have a helmet on.
I hate the fact we have to share the road with them.
I work in Washington DC where there are stupid bike couriers everywhere. I have to drive my truck (for the phone company) and watch out for these asses a la Quicksilver.

I love this one:

York, England

Excluding Sundays, it is perfectly legal to shoot a Scotsman with a bow and arrow.

Let me get this right, if Lamsey visits York on a weekday it is OK to shoot him.

Does anyone agree the young chap needs a wee holiday. Something cultural perhaps.

You'll probably be safe in that armour.

Interestingly though, you could have problems if you become an MP.

"It is illegal for a Member of Parliament to enter the House of Commons wearing a full suit of armour."

And since the main rail route back to Scotland goes through York...

Of course, to go with dumb laws, there are dumb criminals:

Indiana
A man walked up to a cashier at a grocery store and demanded all the money in the register. When the cashier handed him the cash, the man fled--leaving his wallet on the counter.

Now who do we know from Indiana?
