from wikipedia:

Wolfram Alpha (also spelled WolframAlpha or Wolfram|Alpha) is an answer-engine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Answer-engine) developed by Wolfram Research (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolfram_Research). It is an online service that answers factual queries directly by computing the answer from structured data, instead of providing a list of documents or web pages that might contain the answer.[3] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolfram_Alpha#cite_note-2) It was announced in March 2009 by British physicist Stephen Wolfram (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Wolfram), and was released to the public on May 15, 2009.[1] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolfram_Alpha#cite_note-launch_date-0)

It will compute everything you want to know thats factual data.

Actually it won't, because it's based off of a database, so guess what if your question isn't in teh database it will come up with nothing.
