I was wondering what program people use to notify them that a torrent has been upped to there private torrent site?

Also is there a program that starts the download automatically?

you can set rss/irc auto downloader about auto download, about notification there is some firefox extentions,rss,irc,of course f5 :D

If im not wrong, people use RSS feeds to auto download. utorrent supports this feature.

Some private trackers do have options whereby you can have a script to auto download torrents as they are announced in their own IRC channel. You could put tags to ensure only what you want is downloaded, of course.

i used to use irssi auto downloader .. if ur in ScT , there is a tutorial for that .. :)

easiest is utorrent and rss but also mirc with a good script works well, google it, there are loads out there.

Also check out the software Miro. It's a TV/video player with BitTorrent RSS downloading support:

I use BS, TB, and IPT mainly.

I am not familiar with RSS, looks like I need to get up to date and learn! :)

lol , rss is easy but auto download scripts are bit hard for noobies ..

irc script will jump on the torrent a second or two after the torrent is posted to the site. rss can be up to a five minute wait. five minutes makes a big difference.
