Just wondering if im the only one that seems to have problem with the search function, everytime i type anything in it i get this

Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.

Dont say u probably searching a word thats not there, because im putting in things that should definitely get a match. Is this just a temp problem?

I am receiving the same. A minor issue that I am sure will be fixed all in good time.

I know tesco has been doing a lot of work on the NZB section in the past day or two. This may be a bug that's popped up as a result.

Give it a day, I'm sure he'll have it fixed. :)

Apropos search, is there a way to filter all those NZB releases when using the "New Posts" auto-search?

This issue was fixed today.

Well it's still screwy, I fixed a few titles on a post, fixed them to the scene names, no big deal, but even before they would not show up in search...like these threads....

http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/f-tv-nzbs-120/t-i-survived-japanese-game-show-s02e05-hdtv-xvid-360531/

http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/f-tv-nzbs-120/t-i-survived-japanese-game-show-s02e06-hdtv-xvid-2hd-360516/

All I did was format the names to fit with the naming schemes and it will not find these in search, but I don't think it did before either, I just search I Survived, and I get all the other release of season 2, but not those 2, weird.

The Sphinx search engine was down that was the original problem.

Spinx only indexes the posts once per hour or something along those lines (not sure, never really looked into it) so if you change a thread title it won't affect teh search right away.

Ah, gottcha  didn't even think about it that way, thought it would be automatic, so it is true, you learn something new everyday, or in my case every "few" seconds

Short words aren't indexed. If you want to look for a thread whose name contains them, you can do this:

I found it via some random Wikipedia surfing, before they deleted the article. I like its cleaner layout and lack of tracking cookies.
